.....getting back on the original topic.....has anyone here driven a third gen SHO? it honestly handles a lot better then my brothers eclipse...and i have beat the living piss out of that thing.....the eclipse is faster but feel less sporty then this 4 door boat of a taurus.....

anyone want to fund me about $800 to get my cam sprockets welded so my motor doesnt go boom?

the sprockets come loose and lets the cams go destroying your engine....that and the tranny doesnt like speeds in excess of 90 mph and open throttle launches....thats about all the problems with these cars to tell you the truth

it may already have it done but i cant find any info on a valve cover gasket for them and i dont want to tear it apart without knowing if it takes one or not....

the guy that traded it in was a member of SHOclub.com

he went to a bunch of conventions.....i guess well find out one day

#56, I hear the guy that does it is generally doing it at conventions

There was an SA AI thread on these and that was the concensus. GET THAT WELDED!

so i had it up on the lift tonight and started looking at everything

It has two Bullet Pro Turbo mufflers with the stock tips welded on to them......i thought it was more droney then any other ones ive ever heard

and i want to say the cams are welded because the engine cover is missing a bolt, it was taken care of, and i dont want to spend the money on it......damn i hope they are
