The car's less than 15 years old, so I'm sure a scrapyard would give a good $20-40 for it... plus free towaway.

I wish I could find the value for my brother's car. KBB said it was too low, so that's not a good sign.

#6, Try Edmunds also... they use a "True Market Value" calculator that actually produces lower results than what KBB says.
