There was the GM F-body platform... it was only used for two cars...
The Chevrolet Camaro, and the Pontiac Firebird.
All versions of the Camaro were called Camaro, with various trim names affixed afterwards... like Camaro Z/28, Camaro IROC, Camaro SS, etc...
The Firebird, however, was called "Trans Am" when it was the high performance version, and had a differently styled front-end than the Firebird in the 4th generation (1993-2002)... but then, there was also the Firebird Formula, which was high-performance like the Trans Am, but did not carry the Trans Am moniker, and used the normal Firebird front-end.
The top of the line Trans Am of the 4th generation was the Trans Am WS6. Also, every Trans Am is officially a Firebird, so it is ok to call it a "Pontiac Firebird Trans Am"... but many prefer to refer to it simply as the "Pontiac Trans Am"

#1, LT1 Trans Ams are the best looking of all 4th gens, IMO.

I think this is a Formula actually, as it doesn't have the big wing of the T/A's but has the Neutral-density tail lights that only came on V8 models. Doesn't have the T/A dual exhausts, as well.
