It really is a shame... ever since Mitsu gave up on a full-fledged WRC program, and their roadcars were no longer simply homologation specials, but purpose-built AS streetcars, they just weren't as insane and light anymore :(

Now the Lancer Evo is simply a "halo vehicle" for the rest of the brand... no longer a racecar for the road, it's a just a posh compact sedan with a hugely powerful engine...

I'd also like to state that it's a shame that America never got the WRX's or the Lancer Evo's when they were at their best... the Evo performance and insanitywise, and the WRX aesthetically... (The WRX coupes from the '90s... YUMMY...)
