#14, My Volvo is exactly the contrary of the Grand Am. Except maybe for the styling, depending on your tastes. :p

#16, Volvo :

Styling : as I said, depends on your tastes but it's VERY conservative.
Ergonomics : awesome.
Comfort : best seats I ever owned.
Built quality : incredible.
Power : tons of torque.
Handling : considering the weight and the non-sporty character of this car, the handling is very decent.

As for the Grand Am, I had the "chance" to drive both a 1987 and a 2001 and seriously, there's not a huge difference in all these aspects between the two of them.

#17, Conservative styling is the best, IMO. Mies Van Der Rohe said it best: "less is more".

beauty is in the details.

#18, Oh I just love the styling of my brick, seriously ! But I can understand people saying that it looks boring. And I forgot to add that the durability and the security features of the Volvo owns the Grand Am BIG time ! there, I said it.
