The R32 and the S3 are entirely different, besides being built on a common platform. The S3 has a turbo four where the S3 has a V6. Different 4WD sytems.

#4, [sarcasm]so the S3 has both a turbo four and an V6. so technically, it has a turbo 10 right.[/sarcasm]i think the R32 has a turbo four. not sure about the S3

The R32 has the narrow-angle V6, the S3 apparently uses a variant of the 1.8T.
