Yeah, and this was an Elite too. The 60s Elite was small, but they remade one in the 1970s too.

Lotus must make the best handling cars in the world, otherwise I doubt they would have barely survived this long. Some of their cars have been very beautiful, some incredibly ugly, all poorly built and detailed (to various degrees), and some have had the most agricultural donor engines and transmissions ever used in sports cars.
I still want an Elan, a V8 Esprit, an Exige and an Elise.

There was an orange Espirit at a used car lot not far from me, I'm pretty sure it was the owners as it had no stickers on it and there was the fact that the next fanciest car was a Dodge Stratus. Needless to say, it was a seckzy beast. |
