oh, where is this? I need to park Archie there for a photo!

My 72 convertible and my daughter's 83 Caprice both failed the emission test today, within minutes of each other :-(

#3, Where do they live? Your '72 would be smog-exempt in California.
And to answer your question, this was taken in SF just off of Bryant or Harrison St on Zoe.

#3, Oh nevermind, I just looked into Arizona's smog laws ... that sucks. 1967 seems a little far to keep testing for smog, seeing as how most cars of that era had no emissions control gear beyond a tailpipe. California's law states that any car 1975 and older is exempt, which is odd since Cali has the strictest emissions laws in the country for other vehicles. My 6K was running poorly when it was tested last and just barely squeaked by.

#5, They just made it so any car in Arizona that's 15 years old or older, that has collector insurance, doesn't need to be tested.

I got my convertible to pass just by messing with a few things. The Caprice probably needs the carb rebuilt. Just picked up the kit for it.
