Description:
eleanor from gone in 60 seconds. I know it isn't a stock GT500, but it is a good looking
car. The GT500 is the only mustang I have ever really wanted!!!!

I prefer the original Eleanor. From the First Gone in Sixty Seconds (1974). She was a 1973 Yellow, unmodified, Mustang Mach 1. This Shelby is pretty nice, but the filmmakers could've toned down the body modifications a bit.

actually the 73 Mustang was heavly modified for the movie. the guy that basicly did everything in the movie built the 73 just for the porpuse of crashing, like when he hit the light post at 90 MPH which was totally unplanned but cool :-)

I was talking about visually unmodified, sorry cuda, I should've been more clear in what I was saying...

Yeah, I have the DVD of H.B. Halicki's masterpiece, and the "accidental" accident with the light pole was one of the coolest scenes in the movie. Though, not as cool as the jump (which didn't go as planned either...).

Actually, the original Eleanor was basically stock aside from the NASCAR style roll cage. And not only is the new Eleanor not a stock GT500, she's not even a real one. The seven or so cars they used in the new movie were modified from regular '67 and '68 Fastbacks.

I know some of you think that the Eleanor from '74's GI60S is ugly, but I prefer her more than this Eleanor. This Eleanor is modified TOO much, they should've left her looking like a normal GT500. If she were a normal GT500, I would definitely choose this one over the '74 Eleanor.

Erock, if you had this car, getting Britney Spears in the backseat would be pretty much a given.
