that happened all the time in that movie... the "damn pole," the jump that went all wrong, the pileup on the bridge, the dumptruck... the list goes on and on...

I liked the chase scenes in the second Terminator movie a lot, espeicaly where the Rig/Wrecker plows through the caprices at the inersection, if you have a TV w/ a good sound system attached, that's an awesome wreck.

crazy Semi Driver vs Valiant, "Duel"
The Entire Game Driver: You Are The Wheelman
Semi Driver w/ Shotgun v. Riced Honda Civics "The Slow and the Happy" (Anything involving destruction of rice is good)

The other really good scene in the Blues Bros. has to be when the ol' Monaco is pushing 140 under the el tracks, thats insane

#25, that was a Seville STS in "Get Carter", not a Catera.

Don't forget: Pontiac Bonneville vs. Pontiac Ventura - "The Seven-Ups"
Kowalski vs. Cops everywhere - "Vanishing Point"
GMC Utility truck vs. '78 Firebird vs. '72 Cadillac vs. Freightliner truck - "Breakdown"

#30, Definitely...Breakdown had some great car/truck chase/action sequences...I should watch that movie again...if it weren't so damned depressing...

#30, I'd like to add another movie...

BMW 7-series vs. a bunch of Peugeot police cars - the opening chase in "The Transporter"
...and the fight inside the Renault semitruck, while not really a chase, is pretty damn awesome too.

#34, I liked that movie. Sure, it wasn't nothing special (another action flick) but I really liked it. Main character has style (leather driving gloves? Yes, please!), chases and fights are well done... too bad I can't download it (I get porn all the time).

#35, Well make sure the movie you're downloading is "The Transporter" and not "The Transporker" :P

#36, You mean "The Transpoker", right?
Thankfully, eDonkey tells me to "check the file name with other users".

I was wrong about this car being a 4 speed...it was a 351C automatic.

Also, the car was actually a '71 Mustang modified to look like a '73. I don't think it was even really a Mach 1, judging by the two spoke steering wheel and dash visible when the cop asks him for his license at the end (after he picked up the "other" Eleanor, but I think it was the same car filmed before the chase).
