Description:
well - the monte carlo is gone...

I had a guy and his wife make the 4+ hour drive from Indiana. He looked it over, payed over the cash and put her on the trailer.

I'm very very very sad...

:( I hope it doesn't get hacked up into a "track car". It's the end of an era. I'll miss this car, too.

on a side note: I HATE using those U-Haul trailers for my car. The headers are so low and the car is so wide that it's always aweful. I bet this body size was not easy.

#1, the guy was really cool - early 30s I would guess - he used to own an 80s Cutlass... currently has a mustang 5.0 - and a 454 Chevelle in his garage... so yeah, he's not going to hack it up...

#2 - he drove it up w/o any problems - obviously done it before...

Darn shame, t'was a nice G-body, at least you can take solice in the fact that it's going to a good home. I myself have felt the sting of an automobiles departure myself, when my brother wrecked my Sonoma I was sad, even though it was a piece of crap and I only had it for a few months I still had a lot of great memories attatched to it. It was the truck I learned how to drive in and I'd had plenty of fun in it as well. I know my situation isn't exactly the same as your but I can empathize with you just the same. I'll probably be sad when I get rid of my Chrysler and my Burban, not that I have any plans to in the near future but I know I won't have them forever.
