#18, supposedly the 06-07s dont handle as good (suspention changes), but I gotta say my focus handles pretty well in its own right, it loves to oversteer (non Ebrake induced) when it comes to the slippery stuff, I've taken mine to a dirt back road and turn in and the ass is sideways, its pretty fun
on the pave, it could use some more sporty tires, but with the cheap tires it has, its somewhat limited.
In my car's lack of power, it really makes up for it in its nimble nature. |

#23, That's what I love about them, the feeling that the chassis, the rear in particular is on tippy toes - it loves to dance from the rear and throttle adjustability is fantastic for a RWD car, let alone a FWD hatch. The steering is also very nice IMO, direct, accurate, feelsome and linear.
Great little cars, I'd love a pre-facelift ZX5 with a 5 speed. |

#26, I've seen what fun you have in it. And no, that's not a sexual reference

#31, Looks like fun.
The interior of the facelifted cars is soooo much nicer. |

#33, It's a bit sober, yeah, but I prefer pure function over pure excess. |

My mother has a 2007 Focus SE sedan with an automatic. Most basic Focus possible, but I like the way it drives. Has a certain "pep" to it. |

#35, It certainly handles more like a sports car. Also, fitness for purpose - the Focus is a good hatch, the Viper a bad sports car (IMO). Like I said, I like the concept but it's in the wrong type of body style for me. |

#7, I actually have...and besides it being cramped, underpowered, and generally uninteresting yeah, I'd say it was exciting. |

#39, Fair enough, it's a small, inexpensive car - cramped, underpowered and uninteresting come standard. Did you like the way it drove, though?
