The current Sebring was based on the Mercedes platform. Now, Cerberus bought Chrysler for 7.4 Billion back in May.
They are New York-based private equity LLC who's goal is to keep it for 2 or so years then sell it and gain profit from the sell.

Hence why they are making all these cuts. They're trying to streamline the branch. Dealers told them which ones to cut. When you're losing that much money, pleasing window watching loyalists goes out the window.

They also own more than half of GMAC, the only part of GM that pulls a constant profit.

I understand the new corny Chrysler vehicles were on the design board for a while so they had to release them. But I won't be surprised to see them pulled back if they don't do anything.

I'm just pissed for the sake of being pissed I guess, it's not like I have a stake in the company anyways.
