I figure both of those, but what good would it do if you came up to a ricer and you had like 1/8 tank of gas and you went against him and you ran out right in the middle:-p |

i think it actually gets decent gas mileage around town, as long as the turbos dont spool up if you shift early |

#29, The ricers are the ones who always brag about how fast Supras are. Plus, import drag racers tend to be ricers. |

#28, You put it in neutral, coast across the line and still smoke him by a good five seconds. |

the supras aren't the quickest import racers ... it's the skylines ... they run into the 8s on street treads (admittedly fancy tyres but still street legal) with 1200hp 2.7L ... they also tend to look at 0-300km/h times as low as 13.72s ... and can still do a highspeed turn |

happens regularly at central drag strip in japan ... near tokyo I think ....
"Veilside also hold the fastest record on the strip using Radial Tyres at 272.16km/h, with a dragstrip time of a mere 8 seconds. This record was achieved in the kitted R32 pictured on the left.
The veilside tuning house is well known for their design prowess. This Gun Metal Grey R32 GTR is the bench mark of the combat style spoiler kit design. You will be able to see this car and much more at the Veilside website at http://www.veilside.co.jp" from an article on http://www.skylinesdownunder.co.nz/racing.html
also goto www.hot4s.com.au and you can order videos with footage from these drags |

That site sucks. (hot4s) Plus, I'm sure it's not street legal, unless your part of the world has no regulations.

Besides, no one on this site has ANY respect for Veilside, they completely trash their cars and make them look horrible. |

I'm not arguing the abundance of plastic on the veilside cars ... I'm talking about numbers ...
anyhow, by the sounds of it even if I organised a ride in an 8sec skyline followed by a vehicle inspection by the road transport authorities, you'd still go "it sucks ... it's rice ... it still doesn't beat a v8"
and legal these days is predominantly in the programming ... be interesting to see how `5hp / ci turns out on the three gas analyser irrespective if it is from the 6 or the 8 |

I wouldn't say that if you took me for a ride in one...you just have no idea how freaking fast 8 seconds in the 1/4 mile is, do you? Or are you talking about 8 in the 1/8? |
