read about the car...an 8-liter 16-cylinder engine needs 4 turbos to produce 1001 hp? shouldnt the engine be able to do that all on its own for that kind of price, or maybe 2 small turbos at most |

You really need to look past all the dumb horsepower bullshit. This thing gets to 252mph in 14 seconds and the engine is a work of art. |

4 turbos are not used to make more power over say 2 turbos. The thing has 16 cylindars. That means each turbo in the double turbo setup would have to feed 8 cyclindars a piece...not easy. Using 4 turbos you can feed 4 cylidars a piece. Same reason most 4 cylindars have single turbo kits, 8 cyl. usually have dual turbos, etc. You could probably do it with one turbo, but trying to get all exahust ports to one turbo and then funnel it back into each cyclindar would be a nightmare. |

as far as "hitting 252 in 14 secs" nice try. here is an actual quote from the above article
"To blink an eye is to miss half the fun that this all-wheel-drive sports car can offer! From a standing start, the Bugatti EB 16-4 Veyron passes the 300-km (186 mph) mark before 14 seconds have elapsed."
Still amazing. by 252 in 14 secs would be insane. It the same time it takes my car to hit 105 this car is going 186!! :) |

The car looks better in blue and black. And with a motor that huge, why does the thing need turbos at all? It should be able to make 1000 hp NA. |

Drool. I love Bugatti, they have some of the best looking cars, ever. Even back in the late 20's early 30's they were awesome. Dont forget about the Royale. Just stunning. |
