That's not a Laguna, it's a Malibu. Either that or a Laguna with Malibu front sheet metal.

This is a Laguna (though oddly enough, its file is named "Malibu": http://static.howstuffworks.com/gif...t-malibu-20.jpg

first car I remember my mom having was a '73 Malibu 4-door. My dad always bought her (until recently) semi-beaters since she had a tendency to run into things 0_o

anyways - the back floor started rusting out, so there was a board over the hole. I remember pulling the board aside and dropping popcorn from the movies out of it. Anyways - the car was sold to some local redneck who was 'going to fix it up'. Apparently he got drunk and shot the car up with a shotgun. Jeezus - what a weird town I lived in.

oh yeah... this is was the same car that my dad drove me to the hospital in... I was ~8 years old and he was making a pool in the backyard. I was screwing around, tripped and fell... and my eye went right into a branch that was sticking out of a dirt pile.

My dad told me he heard me cry and saw nothing but blood coming out of my eye socket. He couldn't tell what was happening so he yelled out to my mom - GOING TO THE HOSPITAL! Threw me in the backseat and broke every speeding law there was... he told me he ended up burying the needle on the highway. Sure was faster than waiting for an ambulance to show up.

Anyways - the stick missed my eye and went past it. It punctured my eyelid and I needed some plastic surgery to repair it. I got to wear a cool eye patch for awhile. There still is a very faint scar from the day I almost lost sight in one eye.

I liked it until it loaded past the door handle.
