Description:
This picture is kind of blurry, but you're looking at what is surely the coolest Supra
ever. Owned by Chris Bounds in my home state of Mississippi, this Supra runs twin
turbochargered Chevy V8 with two intercoolers (from Thunderbird turbo coupes). Best
time to date: 11.44 @ 118 mph.

#21, Check their forums; 5.0s are popular engines for use in a junkyard turbo setup.

#22, And their "Junkyard and DIY Turbo Tech" forum appears to include a list of turbos you might find in a junkyard which would be suitable for a twin setup (which would be necessary because most turbocharged engines are, of course, rather small).

Holy crap, a Supra that broke the 12-second barrier.

With Chevy AND Ford power.
