#2, I dunno, "CRACKER COMPETICIÓ" is pretty bad....especially considering that the dipshits put "POWERED BY CRACKER COMPETICIÓ" on all their cars.
Not to mention their mechanical work is epic failure....none more infamous than the Eclipse GSX "Proway Project," which is a freaking internet legend.

#7, http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=224101
The first couple of pages with the "sin grooves" is funny enough, but read on to at least where he creates his own clutch from the Eclipse unit and a VW aftermarket piece. The page count is high, but the good stuff is in the first ten pages or so. Most of the rest after that is just everyone laughing at him.

#9, Just for starters:
- Usage of head with detonation marks.
- Filing "sin grooves" into the head.
- Fitment of a new Eagle crank without balancing or plastigauging it.
- Grinding the valves and porting the heads with a dremel tool....and leaving the metal shavings in place.
- Drilling holes in his flywheel to lighten it.
- Welding together his own clutch out of two different clutches.
- Painting EVERYTHING metallic blue or red, including all the hoses, the starter motor, the prop shaft (joints included) and the gas/brake/clutch pedals. He also does this without cleaning the parts first or primering.
- Welding his own intercooler together with GIGANTIC birdshit welds.
- Using a turbocharger with gigantic chunks missing from the impeller.
- Welding together his own "lightweight custom air box" out of diamond-stamped steel....welded together with birdshit welds, of course.
- Using the stock, 150k mile dif and transmission.
And so much more.

#10, And of course, the result:
The builder, a self-proclaimed "4G63 Specialist," claims the engine will do "10,000 rpm and make 900 horsepower at the wheels." After having to replace the camshafts before fitting the engine (the ones he had broke in SIX PLACES while he turned the engine BY HAND), the turbo exploded on first startup. After replacing that, he managed to dyno the car. With heavy backfiring, the car only made about 380 horspower at about 35 psi of boost....which is pretty pathetic. |

#11, Sounds like he was determined to fail. Not to mention it sounds like a deathtrap. |
