This is one of the best Fiero creations to date. It was built by V8 Archie and includes such features as the 'Warber hood' named after the original, now deceased, owner who gave so much to the Fiero community. It has a chopped top, 3", laid back 9*. Functional IRM side rocker panels/scoops. These are needed to help cool the massive GM 350 V8 hiding under the decklid in the rear. Furthermore, a custom rear was constructed that is an amalgamation of the fastback and notchback Fiero styles. This is a perfect 1!

That rear lid seems kind of high. Still don't like their styling, and those rims.. Ick. But that's all relative, eh?

There's a crazy guy up around where I am who's dropped a 4G63T (Eclipse engine) into the back of a Fiero. Not quite done with it yet, but I think it's a bit more creative than just throwing a smallblock at it.

Wasn't this actually an LT1 Fiero and not just a crate 350? I'll have to look at Archie's site again.

Well, Mullet, it may be more creative, but for the same level of money in it, it'll be slower. So if you care about being "creative," go for the Eclipse engine. If you care about speed, the LT1 / Northstar swap makes way more sense.

Putting an Eclipse engine in a Fiero certainly is more original but given the same money that 350 Chevy's going to make a LOT more power and torque than the 4G63T engine will ever make. I'll trade originality for more power, less cost and longer life any day. Sure you can get tons of power from the 4G63T engine but at what cost and for how long. HP per dollar is much better with the small block Chevy.

What I want to know is why the hell would you chop the top? That 46 inches feels alot shorter than it sounds when you sit in it. If I had chopped the top on mine, I would've had to cut a hole in the roof. Very smooth car, though.

I like these little things. They really were looking good towards the end of their production run, too. Maybe we'll be lucky and GM will import something like the Opel/Vauxhall speedster as a new Fiero.

you wish. GM will never do that. unless you know some high-level guys who also knows a "Mr. Bills".

I saw that too, Lemming. I don't remember where but somebody had an article sayin' they might do that. Do you have any numbers on that car? I'd sure hate to see them export it and see it get it's little ass beat by Civics. Especially with Pontiac badges.

I don't have a number for a picture, but the Opel/Vauxhall speedster would put up a fight. It has a fair amount of power in a body that weighs about as much as an MR2. 0-60 in ~6s.

Keep in mind that, although it doesn't have too much power, it only weighs around 2000 LB.

Lego-styled my ass, that thing's hot. I must've caught some lousy pics of it before. I wish they would send it over here, clean up the nose and slap some Pontiac badges on it. That'd make an ass-kickin' new Fiero.
