Isn't it a little early to be getting ready for winter? I thought it didn't snow much in Kansas. :P

Fantastic car but I can think of much better ways to spend 30k+ on a car.

I was thinking more along the lines of 993, M3, FDCS, NSX, M5, Elise, Supra et al. All used, all RWD and all performance cars from the beginning.

If I had $30k and was looking specifically for a late model performance car, I'd probably buy a nice C5 Corvette with a six speed.

Of course, if it didn't have to be modern, then probably a really nice '65-'68 Mustang fastback with a four speed, or maybe some entry-level exotic like a Ferrari 308 or 400, or maybe a Lamborghini Jalpa.

#11, If you've thought buying a cheap used Italian exotic was a good idea, I recommend watching the Top Gear £10,000 Italian mid-engine supercar challenge...

#12, Already have, and I still think it's a good idea (it all looked like fun to me).

Plus, they bought '70s cars, whereas I'd be looking at stuff from the '80s, which were generally agreed to have a higher level of polish.
