Could be pretty cool. I hope you have the correct '69-'70 front....for some reason, it seems like most people who build '69 and '70s want to swap '71-'72 front clips on them. The '71-'72 front didn't look as good, IMO.

I also hope that you paint the truck light metallic green. I don't know why, but that's my color suggestion.

#2, You want light metallic green? My dad's '71 GMC will remain that color as long as I have a say in the matter. :P

I've been trying to keep my parents from repainting it some weird green they got cheap that doesn't match the original GM Medium Olive Metallic. Personally, I like the patina it has now as long as we can keep it from rusting further.

#3, 'Tis a nice color, too.

On a custom truck like XtremeRacer's, I think a color like Aston Martin California Sage, with several coats of clear, would look great.

#1, right now i just plan on keeping it how it is, minus the obvious suspension mods, but it will probably end up like my other c10, completely shaved lol.

#2, i'm not sure what the differences are on these style trucks yet, haven't payed much attention to the body, just tryin to get the suspension done. (but ask me about square bodys and i know almost every difference inside and out between years) here's what it looked like when i picked it up

for now i'm keepin the patina, sucks that the bed is a different color though lol. eventually i'll clean up the front with a chrome bumper and probably a billet grill

#5, You've got the correct front clip. Paint it before you add chrome or billet. Adding brightwork to a vehicle with bad paint just ends up looking trashy.

I woulda kept it stock, but I'm no fun to be around when it comes to talking custom vehicles.

I would've dropped it a but, but probably wouldn't channel it. I'd add the correct coils and spindels and probably C-notch it. Beef up the rear end, put a crate motor in, paint it a nice red and ad some Budnik wheels.

#6, true true, exterior work is in the far future, i'll probably rock it how it is for a while until i can save up to just strip it all down and pretty it up

#8, what's wrong with the burb?

#9, to each their own. had i of gotten a relatively clean stock one, it would've just gotten a static drop with probably 18/20 combo. but it's a junker, so why the hell not lo
