The Conquest's new engine going together, a 350 chevy with some very nice Summit aluminum heads, 64cc chambers, that'll make some power.

#20, I had similar concerns, but LTR told me that apparently, there was a Starion/Conquest owner that was able to swap in an LS1, and the drivetrain was able to handle it.

#21, Interesting. I'd be wary of such extreme swaps (if I could do something more complicated than changing a wheel... but I can't) simply because of all the potential trouble. Cars in general are made to a specified power/torque/weight with some tolerance and it all works as a package, I'd be worried of screwing up the balance and ending up with an unreliable heap of junk, disintegrating itself on the turn of the key.

#21, Here's one with a twin turbocharged LS1 (and apparently stock suspension, for all the body roll):

#22, Drop a small block in the back of your Renault and you'll see just how crazy the R5 driving experience can be :P

I would've swapped a Ford 5.0L for a change. ;)

Saw my first Starion today, red and really clean.
