I MUCH prefer the hatches... and as long as we're talking preferences... since it's essentially the same car underneath, I have to say that I prefer the upcoming Mazda2, aesthetically... since that's coming to America, also. That said, both the Fiesta hatch and Mazda2 are very good looking for their segment.

#4, Its trunklid is quite hilarious in how short it is... but you know how carmakers have to bend to American buyers' whims... "Hurr hurr we want a sedan no matter how nice the hatchback is... we'll only buy something with a hatch if it looks like a truck..."
