Man, if Satan himself tried to get some by opening up the earth itself, maybe IHOP really IS that good...

#6, Nah. FB is too public like a walmart. This site is like a divebar - or like Moes.

It is like a dive bar. The decor hasn't changed in decades and the help always knows your name.

#9, *Obsidian walks onto the website*

*I stand up and scream*

WELCOME TO RICE OR NOT!

...oh, you were probably making reference to the bar in the Simpsons, not the taco joint...

#11, Never heard of this Moe's Taco's up until 30 seconds ago. Certainly a lot more lively looking than the Tavern.

Are you suggesting that the RoN restaurant needs a 'south of the border' theme - or can the dumpy wood paneling and smell of stale beer nuts stay?

Well, here's some advice, never eat in any place with "Purina Chows" signage on the wall, or, a tiny toy train doing laps around the ceiling.

#13, There was a buffet around here called the "Train Stop" or something like that... they had model trains making rounds all throughout the place...

It was apparently caused by the failure of a huge drainage pipe that was placed under the place when it was still a Lincoln/Mercury dealership, about 25 years ago. This was apparently done to ease the flooding that used to occur at the K-Mart on the other side of the highway (which is now the shopping center seen in the background of 87222).

#15, Wonder if anyone is liable in this incident... or was it so long ago that any resultant lawsuit may be for naught?

i just wonder if the road adjacent will get shuttered down as this gets repaired, cause if that part failed, i'd be worried about the throughroad nearby

On the bright side, it took one set of those stupid 3-spoke blade rims off the road.

#13, A Burger King here use to have one of those, of course it was in a former train station, which was also haunted.
