WOW, I'm impressed. (NOT.) Especially considering that the stuff they did to it probably destroyed the 50-50 weight distribution.

LMAO. i've always wondered why people bother if they're not even breaking 100 mph. i'd be willing to be most of us here could to the crab walk faster than that.

I hate to sound like an elitist... but I really wouldn't have the balls to call myself a "gear head" or "racer" (not ricer, racer) if my goal was to put my car into 1/8 mile times that are about as fast as I and I'm sure the two of you are running the 1/4 (and my car isn't about straight line speed!!!)

have you guys ever driven behind a ricer? just want to make a point. for how well they supposedly handle...9 out of 10 don't know how to handle their cars. i've almost hit countless ricers because they take corners so damned slow and get right up on the curb when they start their turn. i'm no expert but even i know that you're supposed to take a turn by starting wide, coming close to the curb (or bottom of the turn where ever you happen to be), then come out of it high again. superior handling my ass.

While most people use the Skip Barber driving method (to some degree)... many ricers seem to use the Atari 2600 Pole Position driving method.

First of all... half of them have used suspensions... they get those nice 3" drops on their car by buying springs that offer a 1.5" drop but have 120,000 miles on them. So their cars are bouncing absurdly at every crack. They seem to not notice turns until the last possible second, where, as described above, they seem to just slam the wheel hard right/left while pressing the brakes to the floor (which is hard since their Wal-Mart stainless steel pedals are polished to the point that the best pairs of Luggz will still slip off). I could go on and on about the driving techniques... but I won't bother as it's giving me a headache.
