#20, Having a system with about 4MB of RAM means low-detail textures. There's pretty much no way around it. |

#24, Yeah, and by the time that's out, PCs with 1GB of RAM and 256MB of video RAM will be available (maybe even common). Heck, I'm already halfway there on both counts. |

#24, Too bad when Y-box and Game Pentagon come out, they'll be saying we have better graphics, well guess what?? Graphics mean nothing if your games sucks!
and I wonder why Halo 2 is coming out december 2003, why give us the trailers when its not even coming out this year? |

#30, Doh. Should've known. I've got the original on PC, and it's not the best port, so you might be right on that one. |

You're forgetting, though, that the X-Box is a fixed platform. That means drivers, etc. can be very highly optimized, so the hardware performs much better than an equivalent PC.
Admittedly games choice is a bit scarce ATM but I'm sure that'll change soon.
This "my console has a bigger dick than your console" shit is all stupid anyway. |

#33, That's because they made some *cough*customizations*cough* when they designed the X-Box. To prevent people from swapping hardware in and out of regular PCs. |

I know, but most games didn't use the expansion pack. The graphics detail on the original PS wasn't very good, either. The N64 was doubly limited-even though it did have the most RAM for the time, it also was limited by the relative expense of cartridges. |

Edit: I meant yours, not the console's :-)

what gave me a headache? the incredibly low-res squares on the ps1 that chugged at around a steady 10 frames per second |
