why not? 260hp is the best in its class (bmw 330 only has 225), and a 6-speed manual is planned to come with the US introduction. and there's nothing wrong with rwd.

I love when Japan fanboys (Unlike my hardk0r3 JAPAN OWN@G3) oogle all over cars with the name Skyline. The Skyline is a really boring sedan/coupe over there that doesn't sell really well. It takes the various GT badging for it to get anywhere (performance wise). Everyone thinks "GTR34!" thanks to Gran Turismo when they hear Skyline. Bah. It's the same way with the Mitsubishi Lancer (although that's pretty much gone thanks to Mitsu's importation of the Lancer now) and what not....

it's something cheap ($28,000) that will compete with the otherwise boring and cliché BMW, Mercedes, and Lexus sedans in its class. and my interest in Skylines came with the GTS-X, some 15 years ago.

speedkills...nothing wrong with rwd, but wouldnt you rather drive an awd skyline? plus, talking about 260hp in the class...for a car like a skyline, 260 is not enough, and a bmw 330 is not in the same class as the skyline...

driving an awd skyline would be nice, except of course they're not made here. And most Skylines did start with less than 250hp unless you got into the GT models. Of course the 330 and Skyline aren't in the same class...but read up on this car, the G35 (rebadged Skyline)...obviously you don't know that YES it will be in the same class as the 330 when its debuted here.

I'm not terribly sure why people call this a rebadged skyline. I can't see anything in common with the skyline except the fact that it's a nissan. 4 doors, automatic only, rwd only, non turboed, etc, etc. It doesn't even share a platform with the skyline.

I agree with Jesuz looks like a more curvey sleek CTS. I like it more than the CTS.
