hey - a '73-'77 Malibu... my mom once had one of these. The floorboards were rusted out, so we had a board in the back. Used to lift it and drop stuff through it... we sold the car to some guy who ended up fixing it up... then getting drunk and shooting the car with a shotgun...!

#1, I always thought my Impala would look nice with a shotgun blast to the side!
But seriously, my mom had a 74 Malibu which became my car. Same thing, floor board rusted clean through under the drivers feet! I used a piece of cardboard to patch it up after it got so bad that I went through a puddle and had a huge fountain of water shooting up into my lap!!! |

this is also the car that my dad went 130mph in to bring me to the hospital in...
this is my kind of luck - I was 8 years old, walking around in the backyard where my dad was working on an above ground pool - I fell - and my eye went right onto a stick! Luckily it went just above my eyeball... my dad thought I was blinded, threw me in the malibu and went VERY FAST down the highway... to the hospital.
I luckily can see through both of my eyes no problem and you can't even see the scar... |

I saw a beige four door version of this car being driven by an old black guy at the bank drive-through. He hopped over the cement divider to change stalls in it. |

I saw one of these old heaps infront of my house today. It was black with, ironically, rusted everything, and white letter t/a's. |

#7, You know, I'm starting to think this might be a Laguna! If so, these will probably be collectible one day. Very rare. |

I hope it shares sheet metal in common with a more popular model, otherwise, that might explain why that cavernous door ding hasn't been fixed.... which is really all you'd need to do apparently before getting it some tastefully aggressive paintjob..... |
