Z3 fenders belong ONLY on a Z3. Same with Altezza lights...

Za you talk about doing body work to give a car that one of the kind look, but all ricers do is buy bolt on body kits that anyone can buy. you want to talk about body work, look at old school hot rods where the top has been chopped and so on. stuff that is really one of a kind, and looks good

#103, Since you couldn't follow the reasoning in the previous post, I will simplify it.

You have no taste.

End yourself now.

#10, At least it would look GOOD if it wasn't riced up. Just becaue a car is unique doesn't mean it's nice. In fact, your so-called "unique" ricers are ugly as all fuck.

Oh right. Because we southerners are all a bunch of toothless, know-nothing hicks. Get your head out of your riceboy ass.

#36, Very unique? There is no such thing as "very unique". Either it's unique or it isn't.

#109, Yes, in fact I must have no teeth, a mullet, and am probably sleeping with a cousin or three.

So here's what it all comes down to: We don't object to cosmetic modifications as long as they're TASTEFUL. If you want to do some custom bodywork (that involves something other than gluing Supra taillights to a Civic), fine. If you want to have a custom paint job (that is well-done and isn't in some clashing or nausiating colors), fine.

But the riceboy craze is the first time in history that people have simply bolted a lot of plastic to the outside of their cars to try and make it look different. That shit doesn't work....the bodykit rarely match the car, and NEVER look like it was intended to be designed that way. A Civic with an "agressive" bodykit always just ends up looking like a Honda Civic with a mismatched lower half.

The same goes for those Altezza taillights (which look remarkably like open sores), or those alluminum wings (which look remarkably like the high-voltage towers a few miles from my house). They're just UGLY.

And if you could foreseeably apply the word "combat" to your body molding, it's probably too much. I don't care how large an FMIC the car is packing, there is still no need to have a front bumper with a mouth that sticks out so far that you can't climb speedbumps or driveways.

#112, You gotta admit, the word "combat" applies pretty well to most of those kits. Every time I see them, I'm tempted to open fire with an M60.
