#2, Should've seen my father's first "new" car, a Torino (forget the year).

It went through a couple windshields and went through a total of three paintjobs (the original, which bubbled, a replacement, which bubbled, and then another which he sold the car with). The engine was a basketcase; the valvetrain failed on a highway ramp under normal driving (the rods either fell off the lifters or the rockers, one of the two). It blew a tire across the street from the dealer where he traded it in for a Toyota.

#3, That's why I like em' no one asks for more than 1K for them :-)

76'-80' were some of the darkest years in detroit, from sales to quaility control to performance, you can even see it in my car, how slipshod some of the fitting/building really was

ya know, you could do so much with that. Just needs a little TLC and a bigger enigne. Everything needs a bigger engine.

A friend of mine had one of these back in highschool. I swear this car had the heart of of a truck. It made countless beer runs to the little store out in the country that would sell to us, then down to the river where we would get smashed off like only 10 beers. The good ol' days....

Weird, I saw one exactly like this today, except without the spot on the hood.
