I heard that some people thought this was going to be the new Impala, I also heard its going to be the new Corvette, 2 door obviously. I favor the latter of the 2 ideas.

This would make a decent Corvette. It's not bad, as long as it doesn't have that stupid truck bar on the front. Knowing Chevy these days, it probably does.

True though, American cars have traditionally been boxier, and I personally think they look better that way.

there are rumors swirling of a RWD monte carlo coming out... and a new Impala SS (being the last generation impala which is still being made outside the USA)...

This would be more fitting as an Impala SS than a Monte. How about calling it the Corvair??? Hmmmmmmmmmm.

why do we get the crappy FWD car? Oh yeah, the big 3 want to try to capture the midsize car market again by emulating the japanese... they would have done better by sticking to their guns
