The story goes like this...my grampa passed on, and left me his car...but I didn't even have my licence yet...so, instead of letting it sit in the Florida air and rust out, I sold it to my sister for $5000...($2000 less than Blue Book at the time)...that money went towards college and stuff...wish I still had this car...

Though, my sister's taken decent care of it...it still looks good.

I drive a '91 Buick Park Avenue for my winter beater. Having some funky problems that I hope to fix soon.

i will say Buicks are pretty good cars, my mom has had both a century and an ultra (both with the 3.8). both have been good cars with very few problems

#5 - yep.

#4 - yeah, my buick is a comfy ride. Suprised by the problems... but I think with a few parts she should last me awhile. Great engine btw.

#6, yeah the engines are pretty good, the ultra would be a pretty bad ass street car if it wasn't for that damn torque steer

240hp through the front wheels makes for a pretty hard car to drive... something the ricers find out the hard way...

#11, High humidity and a lot of salty air out near the coasts.

Yep. Salt expedites corrosion a LOT.

#11, Oooh yeah...cars rust here DAMN FAST. Plus, I'm less than 5 minutes from the beach (I can see it from my balcony)...the salt air is MURDER on cars...

#15, Where exactly in this state is Satellite Beach? I've lived mostly in Northeast Florida, and then at UCF, so my knowledge of Florida's geography is rather limited.

#16, From Orlando, go basically East until you hit the ocean...Satellite Beach is somewhere around there.

#17, Figured it was something like that, because you commented that you were looking for cars in the 407 or 321 area codes, both of which are local calls for me.

#18, Funny thing though...I got my car from an area with the 772 code...Only a 50 minute drive...
