Plymouth Concieved the Belvedere-based Road Runner in 68' as the first truly budget-built Muscle car, made primarily for kids with a little cash and a lisence in thier pockets. This one has the hemi and slicks, but shows just how little flash these cars had. Base model RR's had entry-level trim jobs, including very blah-blah hubcaps and a front bench seat, and no carpet, but prices started at just over $2,800 and came stock with a 383 powerplant that churned out 335 HP and ran the 1/4 in 13 seconds

I hope to hell this isn't a genuine Hemi model that someone has minitubbed. If it is, I'm about to start smiting with the .44 Magnum of Divine Justice.

#2, Not a big fan of doing this to relatively hard-to-find cars?
