This looks a lot like the photoshopped Pacer I posted (#540)... Maybe this guy saw it and got some ideas from it. Sad really.

After seeing a Dodge Ram Cummins run an 11.91 1/4 time Mopars seem much more apealing than ever before :-p

You guys are just picking on the imports that you can beat in a race.If you came across a fast import I think you'd be suprised.

i think the reason why we pick on imports is because 98% of them suck. and the fastest 1.8% of import can't run lower than 10sec(or high 9s).and those full on dragster cant run lower than 8.

imo. if u want a fast car, stay away from small engines.

Ouch... I'll agree a vast majority of imports are MADE to suck... but I'm impressed by companies that manage to squeeze something like 250HP stock out of a little 4 banger... or over 300 stock out of a v6. Plus imports generally have the fastest of the fully streetable cars.

im not impress
250 hp 4 banger has to work twice as much to compete with v8
see my point?
most stock V8 3500-4000 rpm -250hp
top end 4 banger 7800-8000 rpm-250hp
small engine has to work more(rev faster) to get the job done(produce power)

I see you're point and I've heard it a million times before. And I'll get a big V12 some day... or at least a TT V8... but for now, every car I want and can afford comes in some sort of V6 so I'll take that along with the challange of making it fast.

i saw a car in my community not too long ago that was very similar to this except it was primered, and they'd taken the top "board" out of the wing so it looked like some sort of f****d up bull...

Fast imports, I have no problem with. People who work on imports seriously with the intent of making them fast, I respect. I question their taste, but I want to build a full-on, big-block, blown and tubbed '58 Edsel, so my tastes are no doubt open to question too. But anyway, these people are fine with me. They're usually not ricers. Ricers, almost by definition, don't make their cars fast. Most of them probably can't cut 13s. Their mods are the automotive equivalent of stuffing a rolled-up sock in your pants. That's what I hate, not import performance people.

Uh, CRacer, who said anything about imports? I don't give a goddamn what car this country was made in, it sucks. The same mods done on a Neon or a Corsica would still be an ugly car. Nobody here hates Japanese cars, so get off it.
