I loved my friend's 318 powered Valiant... just check for rust/damage to the torsion bars... or whatever funky system mopar used...

#105, I'd say that you cross the line from "quick daily driver" to "freaking scary" somewhere around the mid-12s.

A guy I knew in high school had a Swinger like that one, except that it was dark green with a tan vinyl top and interior and Cragars with - get this - a 426 Hemi and a Torqueflite. Everyone called it "The Booger", and it had a reputation as being the fastest car at school.

#111, That one is up in Jacksonville (well within driving distance for my parents). Just thought I'd point that out. The fact that it's a Chevelle sort of counterbalances the fact that it's canary-yellow :-)

Many good things to consider are out there, I see. I will have to keep this stuff in mind when I go shopping for a used car.
