as I said in the freepost - get an '96 impala ss or a Crown Vic... v8, RWD, full frame, and lots of weight. Mileage isn't bad either...

#23, I'd be inclined to agree with that assessment, and it's something I'm going to seriously take into consideration if they total it out.

#24, actually, I like the Park Avenue ALOT! will get another one in the future... but mebbe an Ultra. The PA depreciates like crazy, so they are cheap to pick up... saw a '97 with Leather, etc 40k miles for 8-9k...

I've driven a Grand Marquis... very nice ride... reminded me of a cadillac ride... nice pickup from the V8 too... not a speed demon, but a good car for commuting....

yeah, IMPALA! Stationwagon with the LT1... burn ricers, haul stuff, haul a crowd of people, and still be invisible to the police.

It's a good thing you're safe. Mustangs are not safe cars. http://www.blueovalnews.com/2003/mu...ty/index.htm%20

#34, No, haven't heard anything about them. The only problem I've heard about with those vehicles is a piston slap problem.

#38, Of course, but if you're going like 70 or less and not in a head on collision it matters a lot.
