o kno i dont drive a civic...i drive a pontiac sunbird...witch well isnt any better.......and no im not a ricer...im jsut tryin to figure out import stuff now on im more of a american car kid....

Not really, unless you get the worshipped "Si" with a whopping 160 hp and no torque. My car can kill a stock base-model Civic and that's pretty pathetic.

#23, My car leaves them at the light too. Base model civics are some of the slowest cars made. I could probably beat one through an intersection on my bicycle.

#23, I don't have any experience with ZX2's or SIR's but seriously a Civic CX is much peppier than a base escort. The escort is about the worst car (overall and speed) that I have ever driven. I never liked the Civic DX i drive alot during driving school but it was WAAAAAAAAAAAAY better than the escourt of your gen I drove. And yes, my cavalier is better than a Dx and a mid-level escort. But, on the other hand my opinion can be swayed by "facts" and other people's opinions too.
