The Crapi is currently dead... >_< Here's the story...
My shift at McD's ended at 9:00 am, went out to the car, it started right up, only needed to hold the starter for one or two cranks. I drove to the bank to deposit my paycheck, (at the ATM, so I was only away from my car for about 2 minutes.) I come back, and the DAMN THING WON'T START UP...it just keeps cranking and cranking and cranking, till the cranking got REALLY slow...kept pumping the pedal, letting it sit, nothing worked.
Finally got someone to try to help me with his Tahoe (MEAN sounding Tahoe BTW, loud throaty V8, but that's besides the point), the car tried to start cranking again, but to no avail, finally, while still hooked up to the guy's Tahoe, the starter doesn't even TRY, just *click* *click* *click*.... AAAAHHHRRGGGG...
So, I had it towed to Satellite Beach Auto (Good guys there...they know I'm poor, so they don't try to screw me.)...have yet to hear from them. |

#24, What REALLY pisses me off, while waiting for the tow truck driver at the gas station, I bought an Auto Trader, and what do I find?
1983 Mercury Capri RS, 5.0 V8, perfect condition... power everything, working A/C, T-tops(!!!!) $2950...black with red interior...looks REALLY sweet. It IS a manual, but, if I could afford that car right now, I'd learn.
That's about $1000 more than the total sum I've put into MY piece of crapi...prior to THIS little incident.
GODDAMMIT I MADE A HUGE FUCKING MISTAKE BUYING THIS FUCKING CAR!!!!!!!!!

#24, fixable... bad starter, bad battery, bad alternator. Or a problem with the distributor not getting the spark there. |

You bought a $400 car because that was what your budget allowed and what was available at the time, I spent a fair amount of time looking for a nice mustang before I gave up and bought my truck, a couple months later I saw a pristene fox for about what I paid, shit happens |
