It really boggles the mind, at how obviously dumb these people make themselves out to be. If you want to impress anyone or come across as being macho, get yourself a Hemi with a 4-Speed and tear up the asphalt. Don't get a FWD POS and paint it "Martian Green" and put black flames and a huge spoiler on the back. |

My dad had a few Berettas...one was a blue GT. FAST and he put an awesome sounding exhaust on it. I took it on a business trip to Philadelphia once...about a 6 hour drive...haha...and he still to this day DOES NOT KNOW. |

Even if I sound stupid... Dirf, or anyone else, what's the difference from rear wheels and front wheels ? To me it's all the same, but I'll feel less stupid ! |

FWD must pull the weight of the vehicle...RWD must push it. (sort of)

I don't know what kind of wheels they are but they aren't Camaro wheels (of any year). |

I think that the rwd wheels have more backspacing. Not sure though. |

I can't imagine that there'd be any difference between FWD wheels and RWD wheels. A wheel transferring torque from the shaft to the ground is gonna be the same no matter what end of the car it's on. It can't know if it's 'pushing' or 'pulling.' If there is a difference, I'd say the FWD wheels would have to be stouter because they need to be able to handle additional lateral loads as a result of turning and accelerating at the same time. |

The difference is in backspacing. RWD wheels have more backspacing, they are set in more and have a bowl shape. FWD wheels have no backspacing and all those flat pimp rims you see nowadays are for FWD cars. You can put FWD rims on a RWD car, but you have to buy some kinda special adapter. I'd say you could put RWD rims on a FWD car but they would stick out really far due to the excess backspacing, thus making you look like a Mexican pimp. |

RWD rims on FWD cars.... sadly, that's pretty damn popular around here. |
