#10, Well, if there is, it'd have to be AFTER the early '80s...I remember the Chevy Malibus and El Caminos of that era had the taillights in the rear bumper...

I honestly don't know if there is a law like that.

#11, I remember those old Chevy El Caminos from the '70s and '80s with the taillights in the bumper. They were much higher than the taillights in this Mitsubishi. I'm pretty sure the lowest that taillights can be nowadays is 15 inches above the ground.
