#41, Oh yes... the problem with America is that people can acheive and earn a comfortable living to the extent that they have the freedom to drive whatever fucking vehicle they want.

Yes, the government should only allow people to buy subcompacts and hybrid vehicles...and anyone who dissents should be sent to a concentration camp. Would that be suitable for you, ambient?

#43, it's not just about that...are you forgetting the usage of natural resources and air pollution?

i do think there should be some kind of regulations to control people commuting alone in mega suv's and such

#46, the fx45 doesn't get 10mpg, and i wouldn't commute in it if i had one, i would commute in an older se-r, or an older turbo impreza

#45, Since I don't commute alone, and drive trough 35 miles of trees to work, I don't worry about nature, why should I take my chances traveling at night in a small econo-box. At least this can get me there and back in about a foot of snow, and can even go up over the top of a moose and keep going with only dents and scratches(Nov '04), I know my little shadow couldn't do that. So basically, driving a truck up here is a safety thing, you hit a moose in one most likely you are going home, hit one in a car, your most likely going to the hospital.
