Description:
There are already a few things on this site that have made me sad, but this is by far the single most depressing picture I've seen yet. Now, I love the Delorean, and yes I know it was a terrible car, but, it had a kind of weirdness to it that I found endearing. And, now, we have a Delorean that is painted and blinged and looks, well, like everything else. What a shame. I'm going to go cry. |

yeah...a lotus V6, but just because the engine was weak does not make it a terrible car

well, apparently the Peugeot engine was prone to trouble, and it was a bit overweight for 130 HP, though I believe it handled pretty well, and besides, it has gullwings! (though those were also prone to leaking, but who cares, don't drive it in the rain!) Someday I want one with a Northstar V8 conversion. I've seen it done before and it makes for quite an awesome car.

Yeah, I guess if you can shoehorn a Northstar in there then a lot of large engines can fit, I dunno if adapters are manufactured that'll work, but you can always take my grandfather's approach and make your own out of 1/4" iron (1999-mated early 50's Chevy dump-truck inline-6 to TH400 transmission, fitted inside a 1967 Jeep Wagoneer)
I still don't understand how he did it perfectly, but, it still runs and gets work done.

yeah, that liscence plate is a pretty big travesty. I guess he's vindicating the handicapped? No, that doesn't make sense, if I were handicapped, I'd still hate this asshole.
