Description:
This is my Cavalier! It's one of the quicker 2.2L OHV j-bodies on the road, even though it's still pretty slow. Oh well, I love it anyway. I'll be lowering it next year. Don't worry, I won't be putting on any body kits or wings. Have you heard about GM's new 2.4L Ecotec engine? 170 HP and 170lb torque, 90% of it coming below 2400 RPM. I'd love to swap that into my car someday, but that's doubtful.

#3 You think so? GM is talking about superchargers and things like that, but who knows. That would put it above 200 HP. Ecotecs are supposed to be tuner friendly. GM wants to compete in the sport compact market, and they seem to be taking some steps in the right direction.

A new 4-banger Grand Am is lively? Haha.

If I bought a Grand Am, it would be no less than the GT's 3.4L ohv v6 with Ram Air. It's only 175/200 in power but that moves a heck of a lot better than the 2.2L. My sister has one of them.

I drove a 2-door Grand Am with a 5-speed. It scooted along pretty well for what it was.
