I dunno if it would be rear drive.
I'm just looking at the muffler and to where the real axel would run judging by the center of the wheel hub. By the looks to me, if it is rear drive, then the muffler is either right under the axel, or some how going through it.

#2, doesnt have to be a muffler there, it could be before the axle, and those could just be tips

Heck, that's how the exhaust on a Mustang is set up--the mufflers are actually under the back seat, well in front of the axle.
