#5, Yeah, thats an alternator not a turbo.
Pretty sure that the turbo placement on these cars is done on the other side as there is so little room to start with under the hood that the battery is usually moved to the truck very quickly.

I believe that thing is to provide more power to the car for stereo. I saw it on Speed that this guy has so much watts of music that this guy needs extra power.
