#22, With the modifications listed, that might take, what? 20 psi of boost?

There are a few too many variables in there to guess accurately, but I'm grasping anyway.

#25, GS/GSR engine puts out what - 180hp? with 1.8Ls... headers, intake, etc would only provide a few more hp... the turbocharging and amount of psi is probably the biggest unknown factor...

Quote from Malibu Racing

"Most of the import cars to look out for are not dressed out and stupid looking.
The guys that have fast imports are the only ones that have a brain! The bad thing is that for what it cost to build a 11 second import, you can buy a Camaro or Firebird, add a few things and still be faster.

I have never seen a fast import that did not have a Turbo. I could only imagine how fast I could go with a bunch of money and a Turbo!"

a lively debate

#26, The gsr is a high compression engine ( well what you can call high comp in a honda.) so turboing it would only allow you to run like 5 lbs ... in a gs engine you might be able to run 8 lbs on stock internals.

#34, the B16 came in the first generation intergra.

#25, not if the Camaro or Malibu is in any sort of decent condition. and it would be cheaper to go with an import if you're concerned with all around performance, as opposed to simply going down the 1320 as fast as possible.

#36, well I like going fast as possible in a straight line... all around performance I would still take a camaro or malibu... but that's because I prefer RWD.

It is not expensive to make a Mustang or Camaro (for example) to handle well, too. I don't think they get enough credit in that regard, probably because most people seem to prefer drag/grand prix du stoplight. :-P
