The whole argument seems pointless to a certain degree, as the car in question isnĀ“t really FDW, but more of a very short RWD with some kind of aerodynamic attachment at the end. http://www.urbanracer.com/gallery/a...arlson/0755.jpg

meh - (as I said) it's just another class of racing... and I'm suprised how well these guys are doing considering the FWD - but there are guys on a much smaller budget running faster with RWD... I mean hells bells, there is a guy on maliburacing.com running mid-8s, all homebrew with a stroked 400 chevy V8 on pump gas - with no power adders!

#63, That sort of eliminates the FWD argument. Now the wheels are probably somewhere in the middle of the car, weight-wise.
