here's the whole quote...."1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS, with a VIS Blitz kit and a Wings West rear spoiler. Also it has Koni five way adj. shocks with Eibach springs, letting it sit 3` from the ground it has 18` alloy wheels. With a set of OBX front and rear sway bars, with a custom interior and paint job. it also has a 2.0 DOHC non-turbo with 140hp at 6000rpm. along with Magnecor wires, Bosch Platnium plugs and a RS-Akimoto unit." |

Blitz kit: boooooo. Wings West rear spoiler: moderately bad, not terrible; I've seen worse. Konis and Eibachs: finally, a high-quality, practical and useful mod, too bad this guy probably knows jack shit about proper suspension setup. 3" up: enjoy ripping your oil pan off on a speedbump, genius. 18" rims: too damn big on this car. OBX front and rear sway bars: I know nothing about OBX, but sway bars are good. Custom interior and paint job: I hope you got your money back, because that paint is HARSH. Interior looks like it might be pretty cool, though. 2.0 DOHC non-turbo: why are you listing this under mods? It's stock. And he either detuned it or knows nothing about his car. Magnecor wires: why? Bosch Platinum plugs: quality parts, but this guy probably thinks they give him 10 hp. Finally, an RS-Akimoto unit: Your unit is your business, pal, and I don't want to know about it. |

I had 40/ R17 tires on my eclipse, I think that's the right size.

The fact that he needed to buy an aftermarket unit is actually pretty telling.... |

he has finally come to believe that a wing on the back of his car, body kit, and no engine mods will only slow him down. by the way, what's an Akimoto unit? what does a unit do? |

At least this guy isn't trying to bs anyone. These cars don't weight much. 140 hp would move this thing reasonably well. It's still ugly as hell though. |

He really sank some money into that paint. It's pretty interesting. Aside from that, this is as ricey as rice has ever been riced. |
