#6, Why? Essentially it does the same thing as a turbo. It blows air. I just can't see it doing much.

#7, What stang said. That's why you can hook a boost gauge to the intake manifold and see positive pressure when running a supercharger/turbo... they blow more than the engine can suck... which is a lot.

I've heard these do nothing for torque... probably why Mazda is working on one for the RX-8 :P

#9, oops - reading the FAQ - turns out they aren't selling the electric supercharger anymore... it had a 16% failure rate...

looks like you turned it on and got like a ~10 second charge from it
