#5, Oh, mcmunkee and a few others would always say FWD dragsters are like trying to push a rope... an ill-chosen metaphor, but it was used quite a bit.

#9, Actually, they put wheelie bars on the back of those vehicles and jack them down specifically to avoid that problem. Still, it's sort of backwards when weight transfer is something undesirable.

They ought to have the engines power the wheelie bars. They could call it behind-the-car-drive.
